Yannaël QUENEL, piano & electro composer

Music creator of the “Théâtre du Corps Pietragalla-Derouault”

Pianist, percussionist, arranger and composer, Yannaël Quenel is one of the few French musicians who is as comfortable in classical music as in the world of variety. While his classical career does not leave anyone indifferent – 1st Prize in the Montsalvatge 2006 competition, National Diploma of the CNSM Lyon in 2008, Master HfMT Hanbourg 2011, Classical Revelation Adami 2011, winner of the Fondation Banque Populaire 2012, winner of the Fondation Charles Oulmont 2013 – Yannaël composes and plays in different worlds:

The Dance. He writes music and plays on stage with the Théâtre du Corps Pietragalla-Derouault on the shows Les Chaises, Etre ou paraître, and wrote the musical creation for the shows Je t’ai rencontré par hasard and Lorenzaccio.

The Song. He adds his touch to Vincent Delerm’s album “Les Amants parallèles” and also accompanies Pierre LAPOINTE on the tour of his latest album La science du coeur with percussionist Krystina MARCOUX

The Musical. In January 2017, he was entrusted with the writing of a musical for young audiences: “Jeanne et la chambre à airs…. »

Circus arts. He accompanies juggler Vincent de LAVENÈRE in the creation of his next show.

He published two solo albums, Berlin-Paris and Berlin-Paris II as a summary of this work. Thus, the pages of Rameau, Debussy or Beethoven rub shoulders with his own acoustic or electronic compositions.
